As an enthusiast, I can’t help but be thrilled about the revamped 7-97 E-Volt! It boasts a reclaimed Tesla Model S powertrain, churning out a mighty 450 hp and a stupendous 486 lb-ft of torque. With a lightning-fast acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in under four seconds and a driving range of up to an impressive 180 miles, it’s the perfect blend of power and practicality. The electric vehicle also offers two driving modes – Eco and Sport – catering to those seeking performance or fuel efficiency.
KALMAR’s dedication to sustainability reaches far beyond the engine compartment. The 7-97 E-Volt repurposes materials from its predecessor, such as recycled aluminum and reprocessed glass, while its lightweight exterior panels are crafted from eco-friendly flax fibers. Compared to conventional carbon fiber, these plant-based fibers lower CO2 emissions by a significant 78 percent.
Even though it’s been converted to an Electric vehicle, the 7-97 E-Volt maintains the weight of its original 964 Turbo, thanks to its ingenious design.
