Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals she has 'worked more after marriage' and having kids; says people warned her 'your career will be over'

As a dedicated follower and admirer of Kareena Kapoor Khan, I have always been in awe of her resilience, versatility, and unwavering spirit. Her journey in Bollywood is nothing short of inspiring, especially when you consider the challenges she’s faced throughout her career.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but express my admiration for the remarkable Kareena Kapoor Khan, a woman who effortlessly proves her versatility within our industry. On the 21st of September, 2024, this exceptional actress graced us with another year of her timeless presence – an occasion that served as a testament to her graceful aging.

In an interview with Fever FM, Khan reminisced about her unforgettable characters Poo and Geet. She expressed that people appreciated the connection between those roles and commented, “They wanted us to stay single… They thought my career would end if I got married! But if my career ended, so be it! I’ve worked even harder after marriage and becoming a mother. So, I believe it’s about embracing challenges, having faith in oneself, and going against the current.

Kareena noted that the character of Poo exuded confidence, as seen even in quirky moments like strutting around in mismatched shoes and labeling it high fashion. This, she suggested, mirrored her (Kareena’s) true persona.

Apart from emphasizing Geet’s careless yet joyful disposition, characterized by her affection for self and life, without being bothered by the potential outcomes of her choices, Kareena pointed out that they possess a similar perspective. Just like Geet, Kareena has consistently chased after what she desired in life.

On October 16, 2012, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan tied the knot in Mumbai, having been together for many years. Prior to this, Saif was married to actor Amrita Singh, but they separated in 2004. Together, they have two children named Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Since then, Saif has also had two sons with Kareena – Taimur Ali Khan (born in 2016) and Jehangir Ali Khan (born in 2021).

Recently, I had the privilege of gracing the silver screen in Hansal Mehta’s gripping production, “The Buckingham Murders,” which premiered in cinemas on September 13, 2024. My role in this intriguing investigative thriller was met with special acclaim for my performance.
