The second season of “Severance” on Apple TV+ finally debuted yesterday, and viewers of this sci-fi mystery series are excitedly discussing an unverified appearance by famous actor Keanu Reeves. Interestingly, his presence was only audible, as Reeves lent his voice for a stop-motion Lumon building shown in a brief animation.
In “Severance,” Adam Scott portrays Mark Scout, and the series chronicles the staff members at Lumon Industries who opt for a plan that segregates their personal memories from their professional experiences.
@MoveFilesLive” praised a video clip they shared as a “cinematic marvel,” featuring Keanu Reeves’ cameo. Reminiscent of Microsoft Word’s virtual assistant Clippy from the ’90s, Reeves’ voice emanated from a smiling structure resembling Lumon Administrative Building Branch 501, causing Scout, Irving Bailiff (John Turturro), Dylan George (Zach Cherry), and Helly Riggs (Britt Lower) to stare in bewilderment. As Reeves delved into the building’s history dating back to 1870, they watched on, growing more perplexed until, at last, the tale ended. With no other option, they applauded, and Cherry’s character amusingly clapped by himself.
Beginning on February 18, 2022, the series Severance swiftly gained popularity on Apple TV, demonstrating a knack for science fiction. The show boasts an impressive 95% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, although its Popcornmeter score is slightly lower at 88%. In just a short time, Severance has garnered numerous nominations, including six Primetime Emmys, three Golden Globes, and five Saturn Awards. To date, it has taken home 15 awards from various institutions.
