Keanu Reeves has played many tough characters in his career, but none seem to be as highly regarded as John Wick. The action-packed films in this series showcase an unmatched level of awesomeness for the character of John Wick, and it’s no wonder that fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting a potential fifth movie with Reeves reprising his role. In recent interviews, Reeves has candidly shared his thoughts on the possibility, which have generated much interest among fans.
Given the immense success of the John Wick franchise, it’s no wonder fans are eagerly anticipating a fifth film. In a recent interview with Extra TV, Keanu Reeves, who has been busy with other projects, was asked about the possibility. When discussing the potential return of the character known as Baba Yaga, Reeves referred to the character’s ending in the most recent installment.
In ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, the character met his end and passed away. It’s a common trope in Hollywood movies that characters often come back to life, but as of now, there seems to be no revival for this particular character.
In situations similar to these, many major celebrities might be vague about predicting a large franchise’s future. However, this isn’t true for this Canadian actor. He’s not dancing around the issue or misleading fans. I appreciate his honesty when he acknowledged that Chapter 4‘s ending appears to show Wick’s demise. Although it might not be the news some franchise enthusiasts desire, you have to admire the leading man’s straightforwardness.

Will There Be A John Wick 5? Here’s What’s Been Said About It
Keanu Reeves acknowledged that comebacks for well-known characters in Hollywood can indeed happen, especially during this time of reboots and legacy sequels. However, the situation with the John Wick movies is somewhat more complex due to the intense physical demands involved. When asked about a potential new film, 60-year-old Reeves gave an honest reply, stating that he might not rule out another movie but his knees were giving him some concerns.
Don’t worry, fans, as you’ll see the character grace the big screen again! The character will appear in a spin-off movie that unfolds during the storyline of both Wick Chapters 3 and 4. This film is slated for release in 2025, and the actor from Bill & Ted appears quite excited about it.
Wow, it’s called ‘Ballerina,’ and interestingly enough, it’s set within the universe of ‘John Wick.’ Remarkably, John Wick himself shows up for a moment. Apart from that, I’m as clueless as can be.
In the much-anticipated movie titled “Ballerina“, Ana de Armas steps into the main character as assassin Eve Macarro. From the previews so far, it appears this film is absolutely thrilling in every sense of the word. However, given how beloved John Wick is, it’s natural for fans to feel a bit nostalgic about his absence from the leading role. It’s not entirely out of the question that Keanu Reeves could reprise his character later on, but for now, he seems more content dodging sequel inquiries than he does actual villains.
