Sony Pictures Television has filled its top job by hiring from within.
After serving over 25 years at the studio, Keith Le Goy has taken on the role of Chairman for Sony Pictures Television. This position was previously held by Ravi Ahuja, who has now been promoted to President and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment. His ascension comes as a result of Tony Vinciquerra’s departure from the company.
In his latest role, Le Goy is responsible for managing Sony’s TV production across domestic and foreign markets, encompassing their game show sector (which comprises shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune) as well as the cable network GSN.

Since 1999, Le Goy has been a part of Sony, where he’s held key positions, such as overseeing the studio’s integrated television and home entertainment distribution and marketing divisions, as well as managing Sony’s cable networks across Latin America and Europe. He was instrumental in establishing content partnerships for Sony’s feature films with Disney and Netflix, and significantly expanded the global subscriber base of Crunchyroll, the company’s anime-centric streaming platform, to over 15 million users worldwide. Prior to this role, he served as the president of distribution for Sony Pictures TV.
