Kevin Abstract Drops Second New Single of the Week, “Creek”

As a long-time fan who’s followed Kevin Abstract since his days with BROCKHAMPTON, I can confidently say that he’s been on fire lately! The guy just keeps delivering hit after hit. “Big Dog” and now “Creek,” both unique in their own right, have only solidified my belief that Abstract is back in the zone.

Kevin Abstract has been busy creating new music. Earlier this week, the rapper from BROCKHAMPTON released his first song since his latest album Blanket, titled “Big Dog”. Today, he dropped another standalone single called “Creek”, a dreamy track lasting about 3 and a half minutes, featuring Nourished by Time.

Just as “Big Dog” can only be streamed on YouTube through the official BROCKHAMPTON channel, so too does “Creek.”

Time nurtures the chorus, while Abstract returns to his lyrical prowess in the verses – a domain he seemed to venture less into on the album “Blanket“. In the opening verse, he raps, “I’m your bullet / I’ll be your gun / Desire is like a hound / I feed it when I feel like,” delivering his lines with intensity.

In simpler terms, the unexpected release of the 2.5-minute song titled “Big Dog” on Monday marks a comeback in terms of quality for the rapper known as Abstract. This track is significant because it features production by Romil, who is the primary producer of BROCKHAMPTON.
