However, optimism is now in sight, as the long-awaited continuation of this epic Western tale has finally secured a U.S. premiere date.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2” is set to make its U.S. debut on February 7 at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. This long-anticipated event comes after a five-month wait for Kevin Costner, who has personally invested in the franchise and has been eagerly awaiting its progress following its European premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in September 2024.

The event starts at 2 PM at SBFF, beginning with a screening of [movie title], leading to the premiere of Chapter 2 at 6 PM. This double feature will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Kevin Costner. However, he won’t only appear during this segment. On February 13, at 8:20 PM, the new documentary, Beyond the Horizon, will be shown, and Kevin Costner will join director Mark Gillard for another Q&A session.
