As a hardcore gamer and avid movie enthusiast, I can’t help but be in awe of Kevin Feige‘s unwavering commitment to sequels in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Having grown up watching sequels that expanded on the worlds and characters I loved, I completely resonate with his perspective.
Kevin Feige, the Marvel Universe boss at Marvel Studios, isn’t taken aback by the fact that he often produces sequels for his MCU legacy. In an interview with Variety, he discussed his career in Hollywood and plans for Marvel’s future.

At 51 years old, he looked back on his career with pride, recalling how watching films as a child fueled his passion that led him to where he is today. Emphasizing the significance of continuations, he shared:

I eagerly anticipated sequels, without ever growing jaded or expressing skepticism, despite the long history of sequels in Hollywood. For me, the joy came from the idea that my favorite stories would continue and deepen my connection to them.
Feige has built a thriving cinematic universe with the MCU, churning out one sequel after another, and there’s no indication he plans to slow down.
