Kevin Feige Hopes to Introduce Miles Morales to the MCU After Spider-Verse

As a seasoned cinema enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of Spider-Man on the big screen over the years, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation at the prospect of Miles Morales gracing the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Having grown up with Peter Parker as my favorite wall-crawler, I must admit that Miles has quickly become a close second in my heart.

Even though Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 is in production, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) plans to present a fresh webslinger before long. Known for his iconic role in the Spider-Verse movies, Miles Morales has become an essential version of Spider-Man, standing side by side with Peter Parker. Although the MCU has only suggested his presence previously, it appears that Marvel Studios is preparing to unveil him soon following the third Spider-Verse film.

At D23 Brazil, Omelete had a chat with Kevin Feige about when we might see Miles Morales join the MCU. Initially, his next live-action debut is set for the much-awaited Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is the third installment in the trilogy featuring Shameik Moore. Feige clarified that though Miles Morales will grace our screens in animated form, he won’t appear in live-action for now. However, following the release of Beyond the Spider-Verse, Feige plans to introduce him into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In his own words:

As a die-hard film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Miles Morales will grace our screens in the upcoming ‘Spider-Verse 3’. Currently in production, this movie promises more web-slinging adventures! Here’s hoping his appearance will pave the way for him to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a live-action role soon after.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Kevin Feige hasn’t specified which project will bring him on board yet, but his significance in the MCU is undeniably on the horizon. The only hitch is that “Beyond the Spider-Verse,” initially slated for a 2024 release, has been pushed back this year without a new official schedule. Given its current production status, many are predicting a theater release in 2025. However, there’s a chance that the upcoming Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland could introduce Miles Morales at some point, and possibly even in “Avengers: Secret Wars.
