Fox Racing, a leader in extreme sports apparel that’s famous for its iconic motocross race wear, is introducing a new sub-brand called Fox Lab. This brand aims to make its mark in the fashion world by collaborating with cutting-edge designers. The first collaboration is with Kiko Kostadinov, a forward-thinking designer from Bulgaria.
Fox Racing is starting a new brand called Fox Lab that works with modern designers to create fashionable items using their most advanced products. Their first partnership is with Kiko Kostadinov, a designer who thinks about the future.
The dynamic duo has designed a 20-piece collection that celebrates Fox Racing’s rich history, tracing it back to when the company was called “Moto-X Fox”. Notably, it was during this period that the brand collaborated with rising riders to produce innovative products and iconic gear that have become synonymous with Fox Racing. In this new line, Kostadinov adds a distressed, vintage feel to many items, making each piece look like it just came off the racetrack.
On Fox Racing’s iconic sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts, and pants, Kostadinov reinterprets the label’s traditional “Fox Head” emblem with minor adjustments to its design. Meanwhile, the wavy pattern on the Super-Fox Jersey is inspired by Robert Altman’s 1977 movie, 3 Women, and its dreamlike set, paying tribute to the desert landscape.
The assortment is showcased within an imaginative advertisement created by Jacolby Satterwhite, renowned for his exceptional talent in constructing immersive worlds using virtual reality and digital media. Kostadinov enlisted the artist to reinvent the collection through a unique lens, resulting in a “futuristic environment where the fundamental nature of human identity is reimagined, and all consciousness is transferred to a shared database,” as described by the brand.
