2025 is here, and there’s plenty of excitement brewing in the Kardashian-Jenner sphere! To start, the sixth season of their hit reality series, known as The Kardashians, is slated to debut on this year’s television lineup. As for the younger generation, Kim Kardashian‘s daughter, Chicago, recently celebrated her seventh birthday, using the cowboy-themed bash as an opportunity to show off her freshly cut shorter hairdo. It seems like everyone in the family is embracing the “short hair, don’t care” mantra; even Khloé joined Kim and Kendall Jenner by sporting a bob of her own.
Chicago West, the third of four children Kim Kardashian shares with ex-husband Ye, turned 7 years old this month. Just like her mom has been channeling Beyoncé a la Cowboy Carter, several Instagram Stories show that Chicago went full “Texas Hold ‘Em” for her birthday in a cowgirl fit, with a stylish boot birthday cake and bales of hay surrounding a table adorned with pink flowers. Obviously Kim turned the camera on herself as well, showing her own country and western outfit as well as a new, shorter hairstyle:
In contrast to the usual length, Kim Kardashian’s hairstyle here is noticeably shorter, yet it suits her well as it gets styled out beneath her cowboy hat. She shared various photos, even one offering a more intimate view.
Surprisingly, though, she’s not the only one of her sisters to go short for the new year. Khloé Kardashian — who will reunite with ex-husband Lamar Odom this season when The Kardashians resumes for those with a Hulu subscription — also shocked fans with a gorgeous new look that showed off her “Bobby”:

Khloé Kardashian often plays around with her appearance, especially her hairstyles and colors. However, it’s been some time since we noticed a style as short as the current one on her. It seems like her latest look might have been influenced by yet another sister of hers.
Back in December, Kendall Jenner debuted a bob in a sexy holiday post on Instagram:

The images received countless likes from admirers, yet it’s plausible that no one was as enamored with the model’s fresh appearance as her older sister. Khloé, presumably, couldn’t help but express her affection for the pictures by commenting (since I wasn’t there to witness it):
I looooove your short hair!!!! Ugh swoon… Going to cut mine now
In 2025, it looks like the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are constantly changing their hairstyles with a “new do, who’s that?” attitude. However, Kylie Jenner appears to be sticking with long, dark hair. We’ll definitely be watching to see if this trend catches on among other celebrities, making 2025 a potentially significant year for bob cuts.
