In February, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released to great reviews and over 2 million sales, yet players couldn’t customize Henry’s appearance. However, that’s about to change as developer Warhorse has announced that a Barber Mode will be added to the RPG around mid-March, enabling players to alter their character’s hairstyle and beard design. This feature was initially teased in January when Warhorse unveiled their post-launch content plans for the game.
During a recent Twitch live broadcast, Warhorse Studios unveiled the upcoming array of beard and hairstyles for the game, as demonstrated on the character Henry. Images of these new customization options were snapped by Reddit user Valmont_DE from the stream, offering a sneak peek at what players can expect when the update becomes available.

Clearly demonstrated, customizing Henry’s appearance, particularly his hairstyle and facial hair, becomes achievable with the Barber mode. An array of choices is available to ensure Henry suits your desired likeness.

The livestream by the developer delved deeper into aspects concerning the challenging and immersive Hardcore mode in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, as mentioned by Warhorse Studios. In this mode, certain user interface aids will be restricted both during and outside of battles, and your character’s location won’t appear on the map, forcing you to navigate independently. Furthermore, fast travel is not allowed, and players can opt for “difficulty-enhancing traits” that make gameplay more challenging.
After providing these free updates, Warhorse Studios plans to launch narrative expansions for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 using the game’s paid DLC pass. The story expansions include “Brushes with Death” (summer 2025), “Legacy of the Forge” (fall 2025), and “Mysteria Ecclesia” (winter 2025).
