Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Patch 1.3 Adds Horse Racing To Henry’s Medieval Experience

If you’ve ever pondered how the Kentucky Derby might appear if spectators donned medieval clothing instead of large hats, Bohemia Interactive has an answer for you. Today, the developer launched Patch 1.3 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, introducing horse racing to the game along with several new quests.

In the region of Trosky, you’ll discover that Nomads host an exciting horse-related event. Participants can choose between cross-country races or archery contests while mounted. Additionally, three fresh quests tied to horse racing are being introduced: “Horses for Courses”, “Racing Horseshoes”, and “The Executioner’s Edge”.

This update incorporates numerous corrections throughout the entire game, such as enhancing the speed of fast travel while riding a horse, resolving an issue where Henry’s loyal dog Mutt occasionally would attack him unexpectedly, and additional amendments. Update 1.3 is introduced concurrently with the initial paid DLC story addition for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, titled “Brushes With Death.” In this expansion, players take on the role of Henry who assists a cryptic painter character in finishing his life’s masterpiece. As he does so, Henry uncovers secrets hidden within the painter’s past.

Now available for purchase: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. The expansion pack “Brushes With Death” can be obtained individually or as part of the KCD2 Expansion Pass and Gold Edition.
