As a lifelong Batman enthusiast who’s seen every film multiple times and can recite lines from the 1966 TV series, I must say that this Kith x Warner Bros collaboration has truly sent me into a frenzy! The sheer scale of it is impressive – it’s not just another line of merchandise, but a tribute to the Dark Knight himself.
Kith has teamed up with Warner Bros. to honor Batman’s 85th anniversary since his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 from 1939. This collection, which is the biggest ever produced by Kith, references Batman as a symbol of perseverance, bravery, and justice, as stated by the brand.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share that the collection features clothing, gadgets, and everyday items showcasing art from eight iconic Batman movies. From Tim Burton’s original 1989 Batman, through Returns, Forever, and Robin, all the way up to The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan, and finally, this year’s The Batman (2022).
Notable items include the Wayne Industries Leather Moto Jacket, crafted from thick Nappa sheepskin leather in a biker-style design, boasting the Wayne Industries logo on the chest. On the other hand, the Batman Satin Bomber Jacket, made of sleek nylon satin, showcases the main character with subtle tone-on-tone patches against an all-black backdrop and yellow accents. Additionally, the Joker Wool Coaches Jacket displays unique artwork of The Joker on high-quality heavyweight double-faced wool. Lastly, t-shirts feature various characters hailing from Gotham City, such as Robin, Bane, and Catwoman.
In collaboration, New Era and Warner Bros. have produced a line of accessories featuring iconic DC characters such as Batman, The Joker, and Riddler. This collection includes stylish hats like beanies, trucker, and bucket hats showcasing the characters’ branding.
The collaboration between Batman and Kith for Hot Wheels’ 1989 Batmobile is now up for grabs both online and in Kith retail outlets, while the entire Batman x Kith collection will debut on November 22 at 11 a.m. ET, both online and in physical stores.
