Kristin Chenoweth Signs With UTA

Singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth has signed with UTA for representation in all areas. 

Chenoweth is a multiple award-winning singer who first portrayed Glinda the Good on stage in the play ‘Wicked’, and has been recognized for her performances on screen, such as her Emmy-nominated role in ‘Glee’, winning an Emmy in ‘Pushing Daisies’, and appearances in ‘Schmigadoon!’, ‘The West Wing’ and NBC’s ‘Hairspray Live!’.

On Broadway, Chenoweth won a Tony Award for her role in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” and also appeared in “On the Twentieth Century”. This fall, she will return to Broadway in the new musical “The Queen of Versailles”, sharing the stage with F. Murray Abraham. Additionally, Chenoweth is one of the producers for this production, which boasts a score by Stephen Schwartz, who also composed music for “Wicked”.

As an entertainer, Chenoweth has taken center stage at various global venues such as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Hollywood Bowl, and London Palladium. Her discography includes numerous studio albums.

Apart from her stage performances, she has also graced the big screen in films such as “Four Christmases,” “The Boy Next Door,” “Bewitched,” “The Pink Panther,” and Netflix’s “Our Little Secret.” Notably, Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, who originated the role of Elphaba on Broadway, had brief cameos in the movie adaptation of “Wicked” as well.

Chenoweth is known for writing “A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages”, a memoir that made it onto the New York Times bestseller list, and she also penned the children’s book “What Will I Do with My Love Today?” which draws inspiration from her own experiences growing up as an adoptee.
