In this story, titled “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya: An Impossible Love Story,” we follow the romance between Shahid Kapoor’s character, Aryan – a robotics engineer – and Kriti Sanon’s character, SIFRA, who is a robot. Aryan develops feelings for SIFRA and dreams of marrying her. As they visit his family, a series of chaotic and amusing events transpire.
As a longtime fan of Indian cinema, I must say that the ensemble cast for this upcoming film is truly impressive and reminiscent of the golden age of Bollywood. With veteran actors such as Dharmendra and Grusha Kapoor, along with rising stars like Anubha Fatehpuria and Rajesh Kumar, it seems that this movie will offer a captivating blend of both established talent and fresh faces. I’m particularly excited to see the inclusion of Dimple Kapadia, who has always been one of my favorite actresses, and Rakesh Bedi, whose comedic timing is unparalleled.
Under the guidance of directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, and with the collaboration of producers Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar, this film made its big-screen debut on February 9, 2024.
