As a lifelong basketball enthusiast who has witnessed some of the most iconic collaborations in the sport’s history, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation at the prospect of seeing Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson join forces off-court for ANTA. With their shared background as signature athletes for the brand, their camaraderie on the court, and their mutual drive to push the boundaries of fashion and design, I have no doubt that their collaboration will produce something truly remarkable.
At the latest Dallas Mavericks Media Event, Kyrie Irving talked about his anticipations for the approaching NBA season and shared insights with his fresh teammate, Klay Thompson.
During an interview, reporter Chris Henderson inquired if Irving and his ANTA teammate Klay Thomson might join forces outside of basketball. In response, Irving acknowledged that there will be chances in the future, stating that while there will be competition between them, they have discussed potential collaborations for Anta apparel, hinting at further partnerships and opportunities to expand their brand together.
Initially, Thompson joined ANTA back in 2015 as their main endorser. Now, he’s planning to unveil his tenth signature model, the KT X, which is set to hit stores this autumn. As for Irving, he debuted his first signature shoe with ANTA earlier this spring, named the Kai 1. Here’s what Irving had to share on the topic.
