Lady Gaga Refers to Longtime Boyfriend Michael Polansky as Her “Fiancé” at Paris Olympics

As a long-time Lady Gaga fan and avid follower of celebrity news, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for any updates on her personal life. And boy, did we get a bombshell this weekend! With the 2024 Summer Olympics taking place in Paris, Lady Gaga made a grand appearance at the Opening Ceremony, leaving us all in awe of her stunning performance. But what really caught my attention was an unexpected revelation – she introduced Michael Polansky as her “fiancé” during a meeting with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal!

Did Lady Gaga just confirm her long-rumored engagement?

The singer is presently in Paris for this summer’s Olympics in 2024. She sang at the Opening Ceremony on a Friday evening, and since then, she has been observed enjoying the games over the weekend.

On Sundays, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal uploaded a video on TikTok expressing his gratitude to Lady Gaga for her remarkable performance at the opening ceremony. The show left everyone in awe.

At first glance, it may seem that the viral video is gaining popularity for the swimming events in the background. However, this isn’t the case. The clip, filmed at the venue where the swimming competitions are taking place, shows Gaga embracing Attal in the stands. Right after the hug, she presents Michael Polansky, her rumored boyfriend since late 2019 or early 2020, to Attal as her future spouse. The two men then exchange handshakes.

The first rumors of an engagement between Gaga and Polansky emerged in April, as she was spotted publicly wearing a diamond ring on her left hand’s ring finger.

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Gaga’s reps for comment.

Previously, the singer had relationships with talent agent Christian Carino, whom she split from in 2019, and actor Taylor Kinney, who was her partner until their separation in 2016.

On Friday night during the Opening Ceremony, I found myself completely immersed in Gaga’s captivating French performance. Instead of English, she sang the enchanting French song “Mon Truc en Plume,” which translates to “My Thing With Feathers.” Accompanied by her backup dancers, we followed her graceful choreography as if we were all a part of a mesmerizing ballet. And to add an extra layer of magic, she even played the piano for us, making the moment truly unforgettable.

It was only during the Opening Ceremony at the River Seine in Paris that her participation became a certainty, as she had previously been the subject of whispers but unverified reports. Her visage was initially hidden beneath pom-pons before they were removed, revealing her true identity to the crowd. As reported by the Associated Press, the performance had already been filmed earlier that same day.
