As a seasoned gamer of pop culture, I’ve seen my fair share of unexpected appearances and cameos in various productions. Lady Gaga, a veritable chameleon in the entertainment industry, has caught my eye once again. Her upcoming role in the second season of Netflix’s hit series, Wednesday, is an intriguing development.
Based on reports from Variety, it appears that Lady Gaga is set to continue her success in Hollywood by making a guest appearance in the second season of Netflix’s show “Wednesday.
Initially, the producers aimed for Lady Gaga to have a more significant part in the upcoming season, but that didn’t materialize as planned. At present, filming for the second season is underway in Ireland. If she does appear in ‘Wednesday’, it would be her latest acting venture so far.
The Wednesday news come after the actor starred opposite of Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux. She has been previously nominated for an Academy Award for best actress for A Star Is Born and has been nominated three times for best original song. When asked about a potential Gaga cameo for the second season last year, Jenna Ortega told Variety at the time, “I’m sure Netflix would love that.” A particular dance scene from the fourth episode of the first season gained a lot of attention on TikTok following its remix with Gaga’s “Bloody Mary.” Ortega is slated to star once again alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.
