In reaction to the tragic Southern California wildfires that have claimed lives, forced thousands to flee and destroyed countless homes, the Los Angeles Lakers are initiating a community aid initiative. From January 13th onwards, the team will organize a drive during their home games at Crypto.com Arena to assist the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in their emergency response efforts.
1) Spectators going to the games can carry wrapped goods to specific containers at the Figueroa, Kobe Bryant, and Star Plaza entry points. If you can’t be there in person, the Lakers UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo will function as a drive-through donation spot from January 14th to January 18th.
This effort seeks to unite the community in providing essential aid to those impacted by the wildfires.
