Nike and Jordan Brand have often taken design cues from cars for their sneakers: for example, the Air Jordan 14 resembles a Ferrari 550, while the SB Dunk Low “Gulf” and “Pink Pig” mimic the Porsche 917/20 and Ford GT40, respectively. This masterpiece boasts a sleek, monochromatic black upper and midsole, elegantly embellished with a shiny black Swoosh. The true allure of this joint creation lies in the intricate details. A subtle homage to the iconic Porsche 968 can be found, while the insoles bear the enigmatic “L’art” label, sans an apostrophe – a captivating replacement for the traditional “Air” graphic on a standard Nike Air shoe.

While this Nike sneaker is L’Art de L’Automobile’s initial direct partnership with the brand, it isn’t their first sneaker collaboration. Earlier this year, they teamed up with Salomon for a collection inspired by a renowned Le Mans winner, a continuation of their first vibrant Salomon collaboration in 2022. L’Art de L’Automobile has also previously collaborated with Vans and NOCTA.
