As a seasoned gamer and LEGO enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about this latest addition to the LEGO Technic Ultimate Car Concept Series. With my past experiences of building and collecting LEGO cars, I can appreciate the level of detail and craftsmanship that goes into each set.
This week, LEGO Technic unveiled a new addition to its Ultimate Car Concept Series: a LEGO version of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line, marking the vehicle’s 45th anniversary with 2,891 pieces. The LEGO Technic team has meticulously recreated this iconic sports car as an intricate 1:8 scale collectible.
With a height of 8.5 inches, length of 16.5 inches, and width of 8 inches, this design showcases a six-cylinder in-line engine located within the hood, accompanied by a gearbox offering drive, neutral, and reverse options.
The toy car is equipped with various features including a functioning steering wheel, two distinct locks, an opening hood and tailgate, and a detailed interior replicating the high-end finishes of its real-life counterpart. Additionally, LEGO added classic accessories such as a ladder, spare tire, and roof rack.
The Mercedes-Benz G 500 is the newest addition to LEGO’s extensive Ultimate Car Concept Series. This collection includes the Ferrari Daytona SP3, Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht, Porsche 911 RSR, and many more intricately designed models.
The Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line model by LEGO Technics is now up for pre-order on the company’s official website, priced at $249.99 USD. Delivery is set to commence on August 1. Browse through the gallery above for a glimpse of its design.
