LEGO Unveils Epic 2025 MCU Avengers Sets with Thor, Hawkeye, and More!

In 2025, a fresh LEGO set showcasing characters like Thor, Hawkeye, and others from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers will hit store shelves. Known for keeping pace with the hottest trends in film and television, particularly the rapidly growing Marvel Cinematic Universe, LEGO often releases sets that capture new moments or revisit past scenes.

I’m thrilled to share that LEGO has revealed two new sets showcasing iconic scenes from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers movies on their site. As a fan, I can’t help but feel nostalgic as these sets feature characters like Thor and Hawkeye. These sets are a heartfelt tribute to two out of the four Avengers films released so far (five if you count the upcoming Thunderbolts). With Phase 6 kicking off later this summer with projects such as The Fantastic Four: First Steps, these sets serve as a reminder of the rich legacy we’ve built together.

A particular LEGO set showcases an alternate portrayal of the climactic battle in 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” labeled as “Thor vs. Chitauri.” This set is part of Marvel’s Infinity Saga collection by their LEGO division, featuring a total of 373 pieces and offering seven different minifigures.

This set provides fans with the chance to reenact the scene featuring Rocket Raccoon, War Machine (donning the large Iron Patriot armor), and Thor wielding Stormbreaker axe. Accompanying them are four Chitauri minifigs and their mini-ships, recreating the grand finale battle from Avengers: Endgame, albeit with some adjustments.

In addition to the mini-figures, constructors will have the opportunity to recreate one of Thanos’ most fearsome creatures, colloquially referred to as the Chitauri Gorilla. This towering figure is significantly larger than the mini-figures and includes chains connected to its neck.

In the movie “Avengers: Endgame”, Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon and Don Cheadle’s War Machine played crucial roles. Prior to the climactic battle, they joined forces for a spectacular scene. Unlike the LEGO set, Cheadle appears in a fresh iteration of the War Machine armor instead of his Iron Patriot suit, last seen in “Iron Man 3” from 2013.

Regarding the gorillas, they emerged from a Chitauri ship when Thanos and his troops were preparing for combat against Captain America, played by Chris Evans. Before assuming the role of Captain America, Anthony Mackie’s character Falcon charged towards one of these gorillas, striking it in the chest with his wings, effectively defeating it.

This set will be available for purchase on August 1, 2025, and it will cost $54.99.

The second collection showcases the Avengers’ quinjet as it appeared in the 2015 film “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” This set includes a few mini-figures compatible with the vehicle. Compared to the first display, this set is significantly larger, boasting 1,131 pieces and offering five unique mini-figures.

With a display as guide, enthusiasts can construct the quinjet used by the Avengers, first seen in action during “Age of Ultron“. This aircraft was instrumental in moving the team across the globe prior to and throughout their battle against Ultron.

These five mini-figures showcase some key characters from the Age of Ultron, such as Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Quicksilver, and Ultron themselves.

Additionally, the Quinjet’s distinctive feature is its ability to adjust its wings and fold them back into the main body of the aircraft, mimicking this capability as seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” this jet was frequently spotted, with a particularly memorable instance being when it transported the team back to Avengers Headquarters following their encounter with Baron von Strucker. Here’s more information about what became of Avengers Tower.

In the closing scenes of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, in the end, decided to board the jet and soared off towards space, initiating a self-imposed two-year absence on the planet Sakaar.

As a die-hard movie buff, I’m thrilled to share that starting from August 1, 2025, you can own a piece of the Marvel Universe – the “Avengers: Age of Ultron Quinjet”! It’s priced at just $129.99 USD, making it an unbeatable deal for any fan like me.

What Other LEGO Sets Could Marvel Have in Store?

Although LEGO has plans to create future MCU-themed projects, based on the July release of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, there is a vast array of untapped Marvel Studios films and series that could inspire unique LEGO sets yet to be seen.

Indeed, it’s worth noting that many of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series on Disney+ have yet to be transformed into LEGO form. Scenes from popular projects such as WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and others are ripe for adaptation, given their abundance in the MCU’s extensive collection of streaming properties. Translating these captivating moments into buildable LEGO sets would undoubtedly bring joy to fans everywhere.

Furthermore, contemporary Marvel Cinatic Universe films such as Deadpool and Wolverine, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness share the same release status.

Here are just a few instances, since there are many significant storylines from the Infinity Saga yet to be transformed into LEGO sets as the franchise continues to evolve. Given that the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and history will converge by the end of the Multiverse Saga, the upcoming years could provide an ideal chance for LEGO to delve deeper into this historical context.
