Levi's Releases Oasis Collaboration To Celebrate The Band's 30th Anniversary

As a child of the ’90s, I’ve witnessed the rise and fall of many iconic bands, but none have left as lasting an impression as Oasis. Their music was the soundtrack to my youth, and their debut album “Definitely Maybe” was the anthem that echoed through our halls. So when I heard about Levi’s collaboration with Oasis to celebrate this classic album, I felt a surge of nostalgia that brought me back to those carefree days.

Levi’s unveiled a line of t-shirts paying homage to the iconic ’90s rock/Britpop group Oasis, commemorating their debut album “Definitely Maybe” from 1994. This influential record left a lasting impression on the world of rock music, earning both critical acclaim and commercial success, and playing a pivotal role in reinvigorating the genre within the UK. Intriguingly, Oasis hinted at a possible reunion following their split in 2009.

The t-shirts are kept minimalist, offering only two colors – black and white. They display three unique designs. Firstly, there’s the longstanding Oasis logo, recognizable since their initial debut, with the band name displayed prominently in bold letters. A second design features this same bold Oasis font, but with a swirling Union Jack added to it. Lastly, the third design showcases an outline of the band name on a football pitch – a replica from their 1996 concert at Maine Road Stadium.

For the first time, Levi’s, known more for its traditional logo tees and simple graphics, is venturing into a new domain by collaborating with a band on their merchandise. In contrast, its recent partnerships have been with McLaren Racing and Kiko Kostadinov, focusing on automotive racing and high-end fashion enthusiasts.

The release date for the collection has been scheduled for August 27th. It will be accessible at certain Levi’s retail outlets and also on their official website. A preview of this collaboration can be found in the gallery displayed above.
