Lewis Hamilton Marks New Career Chapter with a Visit to Ferrari HQ

On his inaugural day at Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello, Lewis Hamilton, a multiple Formula 1 World Champion, embarked on a fresh chapter in his distinguished career with a heartfelt start. Having left Mercedes, he now takes up position within the Scuderia, filling Carlos Sainz’s vacancy and teaming up with Charles Leclerc.

On social media, Hamilton joyfully announced his new role as a Ferrari driver, posting a picture of himself next to a sleek black Ferrari F40. He captioned the post with: “Some days will stand out in your memory forever, and today, my debut as a Ferrari driver, is one such day. Although I’ve always harbored a part of me that yearned for racing in red, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have made this dream come true.

On his inaugural day, Hamilton was greeted cordially by Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, Team Principal Fred Vasseur, and Vice Chairman Piero Ferrari. Subsequently, he embarked on a tour encompassing the Fiorano racetrack and the original office of Enzo Ferrari, the team’s late founder, as part of his orientation process to acclimate himself with the team, which they called an “immersion program”.

Hamilton expressed his gratitude for the chance, stating, ‘I’m fully committed to giving my all to ensure success for the team, the entire organization, and the supporters.’

Ferrari has affirmed that Lewis Hamilton will devote his upcoming week to preliminary activities, such as technical discussions and consultations with diverse teams, as he readies himself for racing with the legendary squad. For further insights into his visit, take a peek at the video below.
