As a seasoned Life is Strange fanatic who’s been through the highs and lows of Arcadia Bay, I must say that Double Exposure has truly outdone itself! The intricacies of this murder mystery have left me utterly captivated, especially the enigma surrounding Safi’s camera.
In the newest addition to the Life Is Strange saga titled Double Exposure, Max Caulfield’s tale unfolds as a captivating supernatural whodunit. As an artist in residence at Caledon University, Max stumbles upon the tragic death of her dear friend, Safi.
In this article, you’ll learn a method for exploring two different time periods to find and obtain the camera belonging to Safi, which may hold images or proof that could provide insights into her tragic death.
How To Find Safi’s Camera in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure
The police are missing Safi’s camera, a critical piece of evidence in her case.
In this game, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, to locate Safi’s camera, you should alternate between the Realm of the Living and the Realm of the Dead during Chapter 2, as Moses has been concealing it in his office since he picked it up on the night she passed away.
To outsmart Detective Alderman, first access Moses’ office in the Living World through the portal located next to the janitor’s cart. Since Moses has hidden a camera inside his office, you’ll have to be cunning in your approach.
In simpler terms, Moses needs to adjust a telescope, so he’s asking for an Allen wrench. He plans to retrieve it by traveling through a portal in his office to the old world, where he will find the wrench on a nearby table.
After coming back to the Living World and handing the item over to Moses, he’ll repair the telescope and place the key on a convenient shelf for you to retrieve.
Instead of finding a camera when you use this key to open the cabinet, you’ll stumble upon a note saying “ ‘safe kept.’
This implies that the camera is concealed within the room, yet additional indications are required for clarification. If you query Moses regarding this matter, he’ll share insights about the star known as Saiph located in the Orion constellation.
Climb up to the attic and adjust the Star Projector so it replicates the constellations as they were during Moses and Safi’s time. Once correctly aligned, star Saiph will indicate the region on the left side of the wall, where you’ll find a hidden camera concealed behind a vent.
As you’re preparing to get the camera, suddenly Detective Alderman walks into the room. To throw him off, quickly return to the Living World and pick up a noisy Christmas ornament hanging on the tree instead.
Go back to the world of the dead and set the ornament in the upper room. Once the alderman checks the commotion, he’ll return to the world of the living and employ Max’s latest Swap Ability to interchange the telescope components across the worlds.
Moving the barricading barrels in the vent area allows you access to the camera. Once you have the camera, leave Moses’ office through the same portal to change timelines once more, ensuring your actions go unnoticed.
This will complete the task, helping Moses avoid suspicion from Detective Alderman.
