UK’s Live Base, a pioneer in hip-hop culture for two decades, is commemorating its 20th anniversary. This lifestyle brand, known for its expertise in managing leading artists, blending music, fashion, art, and design, has teamed up with esteemed creatives from Japan, USA, and Germany to launch a unique 20th anniversary collection. This exclusive friends-and-family edition, designed alongside VERDY, NEEDLES, and 786, is now available.
From its inception in 2004, Live Base’s CEO and founder, Amer Nawaz, felt a deep connection to the venture. As a fan of hip-hop music, Live Base has partnered with some of today’s most impactful artists such as Drake, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Travis Scott, and Burna Boy. In an interview, Amer expressed his conviction, saying, “I felt this was my destiny. Hip-hop resonated with me, and I truly believed the opportunities were boundless.”
Two decades after launching, Live Base unveils a unique collection in collaboration with VERDY. VERDY, known for his distinctive style, has designed a tee adorned with 20 stars symbolizing Live Base along with an illustration of Vick. According to VERDY, “When I collaborate with Amer, we mutually encourage each other.
With the VERDY t-shirt, Japanese brand NEEDLES has revamped their label on a signature tracksuit to coordinate with a custom 786 cap. Completing the lineup is an exclusive pair of Cartier eyewear designed in collaboration with Joel Brück from City Optikhaus, Berlin.
