On December 5, 2025, Aamir Khan and his eldest son, Junaid Khan (an actor), spoke with ANI about Aamir’s upcoming film, Loveyapa. During their conversation with the news agency, Junaid expressed that the rom-com is an exciting project for him as it offers a fresh role. He also acknowledged that it differs significantly from Maharaj and presents a challenging acting opportunity.
When asked about his thoughts on his son’s first major film debut, Aamir Khan (known for his role in Dangal) expressed that he had seen a preview version of the movie and found it quite appealing. He went on to mention that the film is extremely entertaining. Speaking to the media outlet, Aamir stated, “The current impact of cellphones on our lives and the intriguing events that ensue as a result are depicted beautifully in this movie.” He concluded by praising the entire cast for their exceptional performances.
Moving forward, the actor-producer complimented Khushi Kapoor’s acting and expressed a sense of his mother Sridevi’s presence in her performance. He stated, “As I watched the film and saw Khushi (Kapoor), it felt like I was watching Sridevi. Her energy was evident, and I could see it.” The Ghajini actor shared this sentiment.
During a brief chat, Aamir Khan, famously known for his role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, openly declared his deep admiration for the late actress Sridevi. He revealed that he had long cherished the dream of collaborating with her. Regarding Sridevi, he praised her as a remarkable artist who was exceptionally gifted. Off-screen, he noted, she concealed her abilities, but once the camera was on, she would reveal her exceptional talent – a trait he found strikingly similar to her daughter Khushi’s acting prowess.
