Aamir Khan, a prominent figure in Bollywood, enjoys a lavish lifestyle filled with high-end comforts. Yet, contrary to expectations, his children Ira Khan and Junaid Khan don’t flaunt these luxuries. Intriguingly, Aamir himself prefers using public transport over his father’s luxury vehicles when commuting. Recently, the young actor shared that he chose a simple path after film shoots for a down-to-earth reason. Keep reading!
I’ve always been captivated by Junaid Khan, and it seems like we share a common mode of transport – the auto-rickshaw! Spotting him at events in his casual attire and carrying his beloved backpack never fails to bring a smile to my face. But did you know Aamir Khan’s son, Azad Rao Khan, opted for a train ride after wrapping up the shoot for Loveyapa? In an interview with The Thugesh Show, debut comedian Aaditya Kulshreshth spilled the beans about this fascinating detail. He shared that our favorite newcomer, Junaid, commuted from Mira Road to Bandra by train – just like a regular guy!
In a straightforward manner, Junaid explained that the production team usually gives them vehicles for commuting. Yet, he mentioned, “I took the train once because there was a traffic jam on the highway due to some election counting. It made more sense to take the train than to sit in the traffic for 3 hours. I’m simply talking about practicality.
Previously, when Farah Khan inquired about Junaid’s preference for traveling by rickshaw, the actor explained that it’s quite handy. He further mentioned that there are several cars available at his home, but he chooses public transportation to save time and avoid getting caught up in traffic.
Previously, he reminisced about running into his father at a traffic light. At the time, he was riding in a rickshaw, while Aamir was in a sleek luxury car. Yet, Aamir swiftly lowered his window and they exchanged greetings. This interaction left the rickshaw driver astonished. When he enquired about how Junaid recognized the Bollywood star, he explained that they reside in the same neighborhood and that Aamir’s mother and his grandmother hail from Banaras.
