With a life that’s been peppered with experiences from the bustling streets of New York to the runways of Milan, this union of two brands that embody my values feels like a perfect match.
The groundbreaking collaboration between LUAR and Moose Knuckles initially caught everyone’s attention, first appearing on LUAR’s Fall/Winter 2024 “Deceptionista” runway in February. As we approach colder seasons, this unique, gender-neutral collection from the new partners is now available for purchase.
Moose Knuckles transforms four key designs from LUAR, namely a bomber jacket, a cocoon parka, a Mongolian shawl, and a skull hat, using their practical perspective. The bomber jacket and cocoon parka are available in black nylon and leather versions. The medium-weight, light down-filled cocoon parka features a detachable Mongolian sheepskin collar and can be enhanced with the Mongolian shawl. The bomber jacket, too, is down-filled, characterized by its curved contours throughout.
Apart from their joint efforts, the pair additionally developed two versions of LUAR’s Brooke Tote with a round handle, one clad entirely in black nylon and another in Mongolian sheepskin.
Speaking about it, Raul Lopez, the creator of LUAR, expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with a company that emphasizes innovation, technology, and aesthetics. These aspects are consistently integral to my design workflow, which makes this partnership feel incredibly harmonious.
