In the third series of SYFY’s “SurrealEstate”, an array of fresh ghost tales unfolded, even incorporating a spooky toaster as one of them! However, it was not just the chilling stories that emerged; a new primary antagonist surfaced, harboring deep resentment towards Luke, played by Tim Rozon.

But now? Luke is finally starting to put the pieces together.

Throughout the show’s run, audiences have gradually uncovered intriguing details about the enigmatic antagonist, Elvis the Elephant. This ominous presence is believed to have taken control after emerging from a toy box that was discarded into a lake years earlier, and subsequently possessing businessman Tyler MacNeil (Austin Ball).

It has been discovered since then that the mysterious toy elephant, which caused fear, once belonged to a boy named Luke Roman. Realizing Elvis the Elephant might have sinister motives, both Luke and his father decided to secure it in a box and throw it into a lake as a way of putting an end to it for good.

But like all good ghost stories, the haunted doll always finds a way to come back.

Tyler is Elvis the Elephant on SurrealEstate, Season 3, Episode 8, “Perchance to Dream”

In the storyline, Elvis, disguised as Tyler, has been putting in a lot of effort throughout the season to get nearer to Luke and his group. This reached a tragic climax last week with an incident involving a hit-and-run, where it appears he intended to harm Luke’s partner Susan (Sarah Levy), but unfortunately ended up killing the latest team member, Tag (Alex Ozerov-Meyer).

As I, Luke, find myself caught up in a shady business proposition from Tyler, my refusal sets him off on an unsettling spiral. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any stranger, an old Elvis the Elephant doll mysteriously appears at my doorstep. Its origins are hazy in my memory, but as the curtains of this week’s episode, Season 3, Episode 8, “Perchance to Dream,” draw to a close, I can’t help but recall its connection to my past, sending a chill down my spine.

Following several encounters with an enigmatic spirit that manipulates the dreams of the Roman Ireland team, Luke ultimately realizes the link between his cherished childhood plaything and the puzzling associate who persistently attempts to mesmerize him with his unsettling gaze.

Yep, Luke finally knows: Tyler MacNeil is Elvis the Elephant.

But, who (or what) is Elvis the Elephant?

Although we don’t have a definitive explanation, it appears that Tyler has encountered at least one entity who exhibits signs of being an ancient and potent influence – much like a demon, spirit or something inherently malicious. Tyler has also mentioned a collective of similar ancient, powerful beings, and it seems that Elvis the Elephant/Tyler is keen on joining this group.

Firstly, it appears that he needs to attend to Luke’s needs, possibly as retaliation for confining him in a box and throwing him into the lake long ago.
