In this project, Motwane is making his debut as part of the widely recognized Netflix anthology series, but both actresses have already worked with Netflix. The short film, featuring Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash, was applauded for its taut narrative and awe-inspiring performances that truly captivated the audience.
Abhishek Banerjee, known for his roles in Stree and other successful films and web series, is set to be part of the Lust Stories universe in the upcoming installment. According to reports, filming for this project will start soon, signifying a new phase with Abhishek joining the cast.
Each episode of Lust Stories features four unique stories that delve into topics like desire, connections, and societal standards. Since its premiere in 2018, this series has been recognized for featuring some of India’s best filmmakers and performers. With Vikramaditya Motwane as the lead director and a strong cast involved, there is much anticipation for the upcoming third installment.
The start of filming for Lust Stories 3 is imminent, even though Netflix hasn’t publicly confirmed the release date as of now.
