Kajol is preparing to take on a role in the mythological horror film titled “Maa,” which is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on June 27, 2025. A sneak peek of the movie was already shown, and it appears that after its theatrical release, viewers will be able to stream it on Netflix.
Based on the newly revealed teaser poster for Maa, its streaming platform is Netflix. For those who might have missed Kajol’s film in the cinema, there’s an opportunity to watch it digitally, or for fans of the story, a chance to re-watch it. The convenience lies in being able to enjoy it from one’s own home. However, the exact date for its digital release has yet to be announced.
In the movie titled “Maa,” Kajol plays a key role, and she’s joined by Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma in significant positions. This film is helmed by Vishal Furia as director and scripted by Saiwyn Quadras. It is a joint production of Jio Studios and Devgn Films, with Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande serving as producers, and Kumar Mangat Pathak contributing as co-producer.
Initially, the movie’s opening scene depicts Kajol’s character embracing her daughter tenderly, both of them bearing wounds and cuts. The poster for this film ominously declares, “Hell has arrived… but so does the Goddess!” The storyline promises an exploration of the struggle between good and evil.
