Mac Miller Receives 26 New Platinum and Gold RIAA Certifications

As a gamer who grew up in the early 2010s, Mac Miller‘s music was the soundtrack to my teenage years. His passing was a huge blow to his fans and the hip-hop community at large. But even in death, Malcolm McCormick continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of music. The 26 new platinum and gold certifications awarded to him by the RIAA is a testament to his talent and impact.

26 new platinum and gold awards have been bestowed upon the late Mac Miller by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

According to the recently revised RIAA site, Miller’s tracks “Self Care” has been certified 6 times platinum, “Weekend” (collaboration with Miguel) is now 5 times platinum, while “Dang!,” “Come Back To Earth,” “Small Worlds,” and “Good News” have both been awarded double platinum status. Additionally, “My Favorite Part” (featuring Ariana Grande), “100 Grandkids,” “Cinderella” (collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign), “Circles,” “Wings,” and “Congratulations” (with Bilal) have all reached platinum status. Other songs like “Clubhouse,” “I Can See,” “Everybody,” “Programs,” “Stay,” “God Is Fair, Sexy Nasty” (in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar), “Soulmate,” “Brand Name,” “Ascension,” “ROS,” and “Rush Hour” have all been certified gold.

Apart from his album tracks, GO:OD AM, Circles, and The Divine Feminine have each earned a platinum certification.

On January 17, 2025, the upcoming posthumous album of the deceased artist titled “Balloonerism,” that was developed concurrently with “Faces,” will hit the shelves.
