Having grown up listening to mythological tales, it feels like a dream come true to see one of my favorite actors bring a mythical character to life. The transition from horror comedies to mythology by Amar Kaushik is not just a shift but a journey back to our roots, and I can’t wait to witness this epic tale unfold on the big screen.

Instead of eagerly waiting for Bhediya 2, fans were taken aback when director Amar Kaushik, together with Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Productions, unveiled the news about Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming project, Mahavatar. In a recent interview, Kaushik discussed his switch from horror-comedy genres to mythology. He explained the motivation behind this change, disclosing that he had been captivated by mythological tales since childhood, as his mother used to narrate them to him.

During an interview with ETimes, filmmaker Amar Kaushik discussed the creation of Vicky Kaushal’s character Mahavatar. He revealed that he has long been interested in delving into various genres, and mythology has held a special appeal since his early years. I’ve picked up valuable insights on visual effects and narrative, and this undertaking seems equally an obligation and a test. I perform optimally when confronted with a difficult situation.
