Malbon and UNDEFEATED Introduce a Second Collaboration

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for both virtual and real-life adventures, I must say that the latest collaboration between UNDEFEATED and Malbon has caught my eye like never before! Coming from someone who’s spent countless hours in the digital world of golf games, this collection seems to strike a perfect balance between the gritty streetwear aesthetic and the rugged spirit of the golf course.

Previously, UNDEFEATED – once a retailer but now a lifestyle brand – collaborated with Malbon, who are known for shaking up the golf industry, in April of last year. The collection featured streetwear-inspired pieces, including jackets made from poly-cotton twill and photographed on a basketball court. This year, they’ve switched locations to the rugged Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in the Pacific Northwest to highlight a variety of outerwear, base layers, polos, and other golf course essentials, along with their usual lifestyle items.

The Malbon x UNDEFEATED Performance 1/4 Zip Pullover is perhaps the best example of that. It’s a nylon/spandex constructed top with an adjustable cord at the waistband, a clever perforated tally logo for back ventilation and underarm panels which are executed in camo, a theme throughout the collection. The short sleeve Windshirts are similarly done with the tiger camo underarm panels providing the main contrast. The graphics t-shirts, on the other hand, introduce a motto which is repeated on a number of garments: Play Dirty. The screenprinted graphic features a gentleman playing out from a bunker in a vintage poster style juxtaposed with “PLAY DIRTY” in bold block lettering.
