The revival of the iconic sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle” has been confirmed, and it looks like the majority of its original cast members are set to reprise their roles. However, there’s a notable exception to this return – one key character will not be portrayed by their former actor, as they will instead be replaced for the new Disney+ series. Fans have eagerly anticipated news about this cherished TV family, but unfortunately, they won’t see a familiar face that has been a staple in the show.
I’m excited to share that I’ve learned the revival series of “Malcolm in the Middle” on Disney+ is indeed happening! You can count on Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield stepping back into their beloved characters Francis and Reese. However, Erik Per Sullivan won’t be returning as Dewey this time around. Instead, Caleb Ellsworth-Clark from “Fargo” has been selected to take over the role in the reboot. Joining them are Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek, who are all reprising their legendary roles from the original series. It’s going to be fantastic!
More to come.
