He commented, “Nowadays, people seem to stop inviting me, as they’ve understood the reasons behind their disappointment and embarrassment when I don’t show up. This pleases me immensely. Also, kindly refrain from calling me, as I prefer to retire by 10-10:30 pm each night and eagerly anticipate my mornings.
As a busy actor like myself, I find that my social circle remains intimate, primarily composed of esteemed individuals such as director Sharib Hashmi, Kay Kay Menon, and the remarkable Nawazuddin Siddiqui – all fellow industry friends whom I hold dear.
Manoj Bajpayee clarified that people might think of him as arrogant due to his strong sense of self-respect, but those who don’t know him well may see him as reserved or distant. He admitted that he values his privacy highly, and if others interpret this as arrogance, he is comfortable with that perception.
Bajpayee stressed that if people take the time to meet and interact with him, they will come to see his genuine character. He portrayed himself as someone thankful, not proud, but rather someone who cherishes his dignity.
