Manoj Bajpayee sells his luxurious apartment in Mumbai worth Rs 9 crore; DETAILS inside

As a dedicated follower of the enchanting world of Hindi cinema, I am constantly in awe of the transformative power it holds and the journeys it carves for its artists. One such artist is Manoj Bajpayee, who has undeniably etched his name in the annals of Indian cinema with his unparalleled versatility and depth of performance.

Manoj Bajpayee, born in Bihar and now recognized as one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood, has traveled a long road from struggle to success. His impressive filmography includes hits like Satya, Gangs of Wasseypur, Aligarh, Bhonsle, and many more. Notably, he recently made headlines by selling his Mumbai apartment for a staggering Rs. 9 crore.

As per the Bollywood Hungama’s report, Manoj Bajpayee has recently sold his high-end property situated in the posh Mahalaxmi area for a whopping Rs 90 million. This property had been in his possession for about ten years, and it was purchased with a stamp duty payment of approximately Rs 54 million. The sale was officially recorded through an Agreement to Sell and was registered in August this year.

In April 2013, actor Bajpayee and his wife Shabana Bajpayee bought an apartment in Minerva, a luxury building constructed by Lokhandwala Kataria Constructions. This apartment, which is no longer available for purchase, cost them approximately Rs 6.4 crore. They also paid a stamp duty of Rs 32 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 at the time of purchase. These details were obtained from data reviewed by Square Yards.

As a long-time renter who has lived in various apartments of different sizes and conditions, I must say that this particular apartment stands out as one of the most spacious and well-equipped ones I have ever come across. Having a living area of 1,247 square feet or roughly 116 square meters is quite generous, especially considering that many apartments in my city are much smaller. Furthermore, the modern amenities it offers, such as a washing machine, dishwasher, and high-speed internet, make daily life significantly easier. The fact that it houses 362 units but still feels roomy is also impressive. To top it off, having two parking spaces for cars adds an extra level of convenience that I have never had in my previous apartments. All in all, this apartment exceeds my expectations and makes me feel like I am living in a luxury home without the hefty price tag.

According to the data, in 2023, Bajpayee made an investment of approximately 32 crores Indian rupees on four business premises located in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

In a 2019 interview with Rediff, Manoj Bajpayee spoke about his challenging times before joining the film industry. During that period, he experienced prolonged struggles, worry, frustration, and disenchantment. Bajpayee admitted that assistant directors would casually discard his photos in his presence. The actor of Gangs of Wasseypur recounted how it was common to see his photographs being tossed into the trash right before him.

As a seasoned actor with over 100 films under my belt, I can honestly say that reaching this milestone has been a humbling and inspiring experience for me. Reflecting back on my early days in Mumbai, I never imagined that I would one day work in not just ten films, but a hundred. The journey has been filled with countless challenges, rejections, and setbacks, but every step of the way has shaped who I am as an artist today. Completing Bhaiyya Ji marks a significant moment in my career, and I am grateful for every opportunity that has brought me to this point.

In the upcoming season 3 of “The Family Man,” actor Manoj Bajpayee will once again take on the character of Srikant Tiwari that he previously portrayed.
