As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for binge-watching comedies, I can hardly contain my excitement for Tubi’s upcoming original series, The Z-Suite! With a cast that includes the hilarious Rhys Darby and Mark McKinney, this workplace comedy promises to be a rollercoaster ride of laughs.
Tubi is adding more stars to its upcoming workplace comedy “The Z-Suite,” featuring Lauren Graham, as fresh guest actors join the show.
Rhys Darby (“Flight of the Conchords”), Mark McKinney (“Superstore”), Dani Kind, Nadine Djoury, Richard Waugh, and Peter Keleghan have secured guest appearances. They are joining previously announced main cast members Graham, Madison Shamoun, Nico Santos, Spencer Stevenson, Anna Bezahler, and Evan Marsh in the production of a comedy show currently being filmed in Toronto.
In a chic Manhattan advertising firm, a generational rift occurs between the longstanding top brass and the emerging Gen Z workforce. Following a misguided corporate decision, the original leadership is ousted, paving the way for the young Z-Suite team to take charge. Their abilities and resilience are put to the test in this new power dynamic.
Graham is set to portray Monica Frazier, a powerful figure in the advertising world who was ousted from her CEO position at the company she helped create. In recent updates about the cast, McKinney will join the production for the comedy, taking on the role of George, the CEO of Boppin’ Burger and the ad agency’s most significant client. Meanwhile, Darby will make a guest appearance as a cynical, successful advertising executive who often seems to have all the answers.
In the Atelier ad agency, Kind takes on an assistant role for the CEO, whereas Djoury manages human resources. Waugh has been with the company for a long time, and Keleghan is the owner of Atelier. Kate O’Brien penned The Z-Suite and oversees its production as showrunner, while Graham acts as executive producer for Tubi’s inaugural live-action series.
It’s absolutely thrilling to watch The Z-Suite unfold, especially with this stellar lineup of talent. Having them join the team and watching their hilarious acts has been nothing short of a blessing,” O’Brien expressed in a statement.
Lance Samuels, Samantha Levine, Daniel Iron, Eric Wattenberg, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Matt Higgins are involved as executive producers for the show. The series is distributed globally by Tubi, who holds the international broadcasting rights.
