Marshall is celebrating the Lunar New Year by releasing a unique version of their renowned Emberton III portable speaker as a special edition.
In partnership with Chinese artist 野 Dark Question, the revamped Emberton III pays tribute to the approaching Year of the Snake and is part of Marshall’s broader festivities titled “Woodsnake 2025” for the Lunar New Year. The brand draws inspiration from iconic music festivals such as Woodstock, planning a world tour featuring events in cities like Beijing, Paris, and New York to engage with local communities and commemorate the Lunar New Year throughout the year.
The unique version of the speaker boasts a camouflage-like army green and fiery orange hue, accompanied by packaging that resembles old-school fireworks designs and psychedelic rock art.
Apart from a refreshed design, the updated Emberton III speaker retains all the beloved features of the original Marshall model. This includes the promise of extended playtime, over 32 hours on a single charge (though this can fluctuate based on usage), true stereo sound, an IP67 rating ensuring protection against dirt, dust, and light water exposure, integrated microphones for hands-free calling and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, which saves power for longer battery life.
The latest version of the Marshall Emberton III, titled “Lunar New Year Edition 2025,” can be purchased globally for £179.99 GBP, $189.99 USD, or €199.99 EUR as of now.
