Marvel Debunks AI Rumors for ‘Fantastic Four’ Poster

Contrary to rumors swirling around social networks, it’s been confirmed that Marvel didn’t employ AI to design the latest poster for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. This statement was made official on Tuesday by the studio itself.

This morning, I woke up excited to see the first poster for “First Steps,” the upcoming film from the Disney-owned studio, revealed alongside its initial teaser trailer. In the captivating image, it appears that a gathering of people from the 20th century are waving enthusiastically as (it seems) the Fantastic Four embark on their heroic flight for a superhuman mission.

Initially, there were those who cheered the unveiling; however, swift criticism followed as some noticed design flaws such as characters with four fingers instead of five and two females bearing identical faces. This sparked speculation that Marvel might have employed AI to create the image, but a representative clarified to The Hollywood Reporter that this was unfounded.

While some rejoiced over its launch, others swiftly found inconsistencies in the design, like characters with four fingers and two females who looked strikingly similar. This stirred speculation that Marvel might have utilized AI for creation, but a representative clarified to The Hollywood Reporter that this was not the case.

Upon its release, there were those who celebrated; however, others swiftly pointed out flaws in the design such as characters with four fingers and two females with the same face. This led to speculation that Marvel might have used AI for creation, but a representative denied this to The Hollywood Reporter.

All three versions maintain the original meaning while providing alternative ways to phrase it.

The uproar follows the backlash against Oscar-nominated movie “The Brutalist”, amidst claims that its dialogue was artificially enhanced using AI. However, director Brady Corbet refutes these allegations, stating that stars Adrian Brody and Felicity Jones spent months working with a dialect coach to master their Hungarian characters’ accents. He clarified that only the Hungarian parts of the film were manually adjusted using Respeecher technology.

I made every effort to maintain the genuine essence of Adrien and Felicity’s performances when translated, ensuring that their work wasn’t changed or distorted, all while holding their talent in high regard.” (Fan speaking)

Under the direction of Matt Shakman, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” features Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the lead roles. This film is set to premiere in cinemas this coming July.
