In Marvel Rivals Season 2, attention is primarily focused on Emma Frost as she’s now the main character players can control. However, many fans are curious about potential new additions to the game’s roster.
Over the last few months, multiple characters for Marvel Rivals have been leaked. However, a connected comic might be hinting at some new heroes that could join the scene in the future.
Jubilee at the Hellfire Gala
It’s been noticed by certain fans that X-Men character Jubilation Lee, also known as Jubilee, is featured in a scene from the Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic. She’s depicted in a fancy dress, engaging in conversation with Thor and Peni Parker.
Although it’s not an official announcement, Jubilee has been discovered within the game files, hinting that she may appear. Data miners unearthed her as early as several months ago in leaks.
Earlier Leaks
Among the numerous X-characters discovered within the game, Jubilee is one I’ve come across. Additionally, data leaks have hinted at the inclusion of characters such as Cyclops, Beast, Rogue, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Deadpool, Professor X, and even Emma Frost.
Given that all the leaks concerning Emma proved accurate, and she was indeed revealed as a Vanguard, it’s quite plausible that the other leaks that surfaced along with the Emma speculation are likely truthful too.
What Can Jubilee Do?
To some fans, Jubilee is often seen as more of a humorous or lighthearted character due to the perception that she was primarily designed to attract a younger audience, and her abilities are limited to producing fireworks.
In summary, she might prove an effective tactician due to her ability to produce massive diversions against opponents with her fireworks. While her screen-whitening skill might be inconvenient for fellow players, the developers could modify it so that her powers also result in large explosions upon collision.
At present, there’s been no formal announcement regarding Jubilee’s inclusion, but if the gossip about Emma turns out to be accurate, it’s plausible that Jubilee, along with other ’97 X-Men characters, might make an appearance in the game at some point this year or the following.
