As a seasoned player of Marvel Snap, I can hardly contain my excitement as Deadpool’s Diner event makes its triumphant return! The heatwave brought about by Surtur and his crew from Muspelheim has been intense, but this is just what the doctor ordered.

In Marvel Snap, it’s been quite sweltering lately, especially with Surtur and his team from Muspelheim joining the fray to intensify the heat. The recent update, rolled out a few weeks back, has introduced a flood of fresh content – new characters, locations, and even revived a much-loved event that’s now active.

Absolutely! Deadpool’s Diner has made a comeback in Marvel Snap and will be around until December 3rd. For those who haven’t experienced it yet, this game mode presents a sequence of increasing challenges where you wager your Bubs to climb the leaderboard.

If you triumph at one table, you’ll move on to another with even larger rewards at stake. Achieving success in the upper echelons will grant you King Eitri and a unique Jane Foster variant designed by Andrea Guardino as prizes. Since this gameplay mode operates independently from conventional ladder matches, it offers a relaxed environment for trying out new strategies and having fun with some unusual mechanics.

Additionally, the update unveiled Surtur, a fire titan who initiates Ragnarok, and his Marvel Snap card packs quite a punch. When you play a card with 10 or more power points, Surtur gains an extra 3 power points. This means you’re in for some fiery, high-powered action if you construct your deck to capitalize on this ability.

Surtur doesn’t battle the Nine Realms on his own. Instead, he’s accompanied by an array of new characters from Series 5 such as Frigga, Malekith, Fenris Wolf, and Gorr the God Butcher. Besides new cards, there are also two fresh locations introduced: Valhalla and Yggdrasil. The Norse theme continues with these additions. Valhalla has the ability to replicate On Reveal effects starting from the fifth turn, while Yggdrasil increases the Power of all cards in other locations by 1 after each turn.
