Approximately a year following the release of “Spider-Man 2” on PlayStation 5, Sony has disclosed that this action-adventure game is set to transition to personal computer platforms.
The upcoming Marvel game, created by Insomniac Games, is set to launch on PCs in January 2025. There will be two versions of Spider-Man 2 to choose from: a Standard Version and an Enhanced Digital Edition.
In this game, you’ll explore an open-world version of New York City, where you can embark on side tasks, objectives, and the primary storyline. Characters like Peter Parker and Miles Morales are the key figures that players take control of, primarily from a third-person viewpoint. For specific missions, players even have the chance to command characters such as Mary Jane Watson and Venom.
Sony announces that those who purchase the Standard Edition of the game will receive the full PS5 version, plus additional content like new outfits, post-game accomplishments, and advanced stages. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with extra special suits and early access to certain features.
