Matthew Perry's Assistant Created A Timeline Of His Last Days As Part Of Plea Agreement In Aftermath Of Friends Star's Death. What We Know

As a seasoned gamer who has navigated countless virtual worlds and stories, I find myself deeply saddened by this heart-wrenching tale unfolding off-screen. The demise of Matthew Perry, a beloved figure from my childhood, is a stark reminder that even in the world of make-believe, real-life struggles often lurk behind the laughter and camaraderie we see on screen.

In the past year following Matthew Perry’s demise, more information about the actor’s passing has emerged. This week saw a significant legal development connected to the tragic events, as five individuals were apprehended and indicted for their alleged involvement in Perry’s death. Among them was Perry’s live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, who later accepted a plea bargain. As part of this agreement, Iwamasa disclosed a timeline detailing Perry’s final days. At present, there are several crucial aspects of his last days that have been revealed.

In December 2023, a few months following Matthew Perry’s passing, it was revealed that ketamine may have played a significant role in his death. Previously, he was discovered unconscious in a hot tub at his residence in October 2023. Recently, Kenneth Iwamasa’s plea agreement and subsequent release of legal documents have provided insights into the former assistant’s involvement in Perry’s demise. According to these documents, obtained by DailyMail.com, Perry had already been found unresponsive at his home on two previous occasions before his death.

Furthermore, according to the prosecutors, Whole Ten Yards ordered his assistant to ready the hot tub for him. Later, it’s claimed that the late celebrity asked Mr. Iwamasa for a “large dose” of ketamine by saying, “give me a big one.” These were reportedly his final words heard by Iwamasa. The documents indicate that on the day he passed away, the Emmy nominee was given two doses of this substance. One of these injections was said to have been administered at approximately 8:30 a.m., and the other was given at around 12:45 p.m.

Newly unveiled records provide additional insights into Matthew Perry’s battle with substance abuse. It is claimed that during September 2023, his assistant was accused of procuring illicit drugs on Perry’s behalf, an act that supposedly involved either being paid in cash or promised reimbursement later. According to court documents, Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s assistant, is said to have used $55,000 of Perry’s funds to buy liquid ketamine and lozenges containing this drug.

The current state of affairs is ongoing, and we’ll have to wait and see how officials manage it further. Regarding the future for the defendants who opted out of the plea bargain like Kenneth Iwamasa, that part is yet to unfold.
