As a dedicated watch enthusiast and tennis aficionado, I must say that the Maurice de Mauriac x Racquet Rallymaster Korea Open Limited Edition has truly caught my eye. Being a connoisseur of both timepieces and sports, I’ve always appreciated the unique fusion of style and function in these collaborations.
After partnering with Maurice de Mauriac and Racquet‘s Rallymaster III in July, they have introduced a fresh joint project that honors their shared love for tennis. Fittingly titled Rallymaster Korea Open, this exclusive timepiece pays tribute to the recently concluded professional tennis tournament in Seoul.
This new Rallymaster model, unlike its predecessors with varied color schemes, stands out due to its unique color palette. Instead of pastels and muted tones, this one is bathed in a deep blue shade, extending from the dial to the strap. The 39mm timepiece is housed in a brushed stainless steel case that lends an eye-catching appearance on any wrist.
Typically, the Rallymaster watch runs on an Landeron 24 automatic Swiss movement, providing it with a 40-hour power reserve. The back of the transparent case displays the Racquet logo in a deep blue shade, and the tennis ball motif surrounding it now mirrors the red and blue Taegeuk symbol from the South Korean national flag.
As per Maurice de Mauriac and Racquet, the Rallymaster Korea Open Limited Edition marks a departure from the regular capsule collection, which typically focuses on the major Grand Slam tournaments. Exclusively available to 100 buyers, this timepiece can be purchased via Maurice de Mauriac’s website for $2,400 USD.
