‘We Live in Time’
Stream on February 7
Under the pen of Nick Payne and guided by John Crowley, the production titled “We Live in Time” offers a unique blend of romance, comedy, and drama. This captivating tale traces the evolving relationship between Tobias (portrayed by Andrew Garfield) and Almut (Florence Pugh), spanning an entire decade. The storyline is unconventional, as it unfolds out of order, providing glimpses into their lives at various points to portray the twists and turns in their love narrative.
Under some unconventional circumstances, Tobias and I found ourselves drawn together, leading us to develop feelings for each other and create a life of our own – forming a family. Yet, when we’re faced with a harsh reality that jeopardizes our future, we find ourselves treading on a challenging journey, limited only by the time we have left together. ‘Pearl: The X-Traordinary Origin Story’

Under the guidance of director Ti West, the chilling horror film titled “Pearl: An Extraordinary Beginning Tale” unfolds. The story revolves around Pearl (played by Mia Goth), a young woman with ambitious dreams of stardom. As her obsession with fame edges towards madness, it becomes an all-consuming force in her mind. In the year 1918, Pearl yearns to break free from the monotony and lovelessness of her humdrum life. Her determination to escape leads her to contemplate actions that are morally questionable, including potentially harming others, all in pursuit of her dream of becoming a silver screen star.
Eager to see her name flash on a movie theater marquee, Pearl’s ambition and yearning led her to perform brutal acts on their Texas homestead. The prequel to West’s 2022 horror film X, titled Pearl: The Extraordinary Origin Story, tells the backstory of the elderly woman who became infatuated with Maxine (played by Mia Goth), as Maxine’s beauty and aspirations mirrored Pearl’s own youthful dreams. ‘Elevation’ (2024)

In a post-apocalyptic world dominated by colossal bug-like monsters called Reapers, who have annihilated civilization, the film “Elevation” unfolds. A band of survivors – Will (Anthony Mackie), Nina (Morena Baccarin), and Katie (Maddie Hasson) – found refuge in the Rocky Mountains where the high elevation keeps the Reapers at bay, as they can’t survive above 8,000 feet. However, when Will’s son requires urgent supplies, they bravely journey into perilous territory to save his life. “Elevation” will be available for streaming from February 21 onwards.
‘End of Watch’

Under the guidance of director David Ayer, the movie titled “End of Watch” unfolds as an action-packed suspense drama. It revolves around two dedicated officers from the Los Angeles Police Department – Brian Taylor, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mike Zavala, played by Michael Peña. Captured in a realistic, documentary-style format, the film provides a gripping account of their daily encounters with various street gangs, offering a glimpse into their risky line of duty.
Despite experiencing a few lucky breaks by conducting large-scale drug and human trafficking arrests, a Mexican cartel issues death threats against them. Yet, they continue unwavering, mirroring the fearless style of cowboys in their patrol duties. The movie End of Watch, streaming on February 24, emphasizes the strong bond between Brian and Mike, portraying how this friendship plays a crucial role in their perilous profession.
‘The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’

The War of the Rohirrim” is an animated fantasy movie, narrated by Éowyn (Miranda Otto). This film takes place 200 years before Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. The story unfolds when the king of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand (Brian Cox), refuses a marriage proposal to his daughter, Héra (Gaia Wise). This refusal leads to rising tempers, and in a tragic turn of events, King Helm accidentally kills Freca (Shaun Dooley), the leader of the Dunlendings. His son, Wulf (Luca Pasqualino), seeks revenge for his father’s death, which triggers a war between the Rohirrim and the Dunlendings.
