As a long-time fan of Frank Herbert’s Dune saga, I can hardly contain my excitement for Max‘s upcoming TV series, “Dune: Prophecy.” The second official teaser trailer has just been released, and it promises to delve deeper into the intriguing backstory of the Bene Gesserit sisters.
In May, Max unveiled the initial teaser trailer for its upcoming TV show “Dune: Prophecy.” This series focuses on the Bene Gesserit sisters’ story. Recently, the network disclosed a second teaser trailer, providing additional glimpses into the show based on Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s 2012 novel, “Sisterhood of Dune.”
To gain influence over the powerful houses and control the currents of power, you need to master your own power first.
The new installment in the Dune series, which has already gained widespread praise for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, Dune: Part Two, and the upcoming Dune: Part Three, presents an intriguing prequel story. This particular narrative focuses on the formation of the Bene Gesserit, an influential sisterhood that emerged 10,000 years prior to Paul Atreides’ birth. In just one minute and ten seconds of the second teaser trailer, viewers catch a glimpse into the power struggles within the Imperium and the creation of this powerful sisterhood by two Harkonnen sisters.
Among the actors gracing the screen in this production are Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, and Faoileann Cunningham, along with others.
Stay tuned for the six-episode Dune: Prophecy, which is set to premiere this November.
