Max Thieriot Talked To Us About Manny’s Declaration Regarding Bode And Gabriela In Fire Country’s Season 3 Premiere. Then Episode 2 Proved Why He’s Absolutely Right

As a long-time fan of Fire Country, I find myself deeply entrenched in the complex dynamics between Bode, Gabriela, and Manny. After years of following this show, I’ve learned that Manny is not one to make rash decisions without considering the best interests of those he cares about.

Beware! Here comes a sneak peek of Fire Country Season 3, Episode 2. If you’d like to watch it immediately, don’t forget that you need a Paramount+ subscription. Keep your eyes peeled for more episodes in the 2024 TV lineup on CBS, airing every Friday at 9 p.m. ET.

There’s a big elephant in the room when it comes to Season 3 of Fire Country: Manny is on a mission to make sure Bode and Gabirela don’t end up back together. It was a semi-shocking and passionate revelation, and when I asked Max Thieriot about it, he surprised me by saying he thought Kevin Alejandro’s character was “looking out for” his daughter and Bode by saying it. Now, after watching Episode 2, I agree with both Manny’s declaration and Thieriot’s thoughts on why his mentor was in the right.

What Max Thieriot Told Me About Manny’s Drive To Make Sure Bode And Gabriela Don’t End Up Together

During the Season 3 premiere of Fire Country, I found myself right in the thick of a heated argument between Gabriela and Diego, triggered by his accusation about her feelings for Bode. It was an awkward yet necessary conversation, given their tangled past emotions towards each other. Moreover, Manny dropped a bombshell when he expressed his concern to Sharon and Vince that their kids should steer clear of any romantic entanglements in the future.

In the interview with Max Thieriot for TopMob, he mentioned that Manny’s actions, although they appeared dramatic, are actually grounded in his deep affection for both Bode and Gabriela.

It seems to me that Manny has been very supportive and vocal about Bode, and I believe he truly understands what’s best for both of them. This is because he’s experienced life the way they have, and I think he’s aware of how much personal growth Bode requires. While it might appear harsh, or like he isn’t backing Bode, I believe he is; in reality, he’s looking after the well-being of both of them. It may seem a bit blunt, but I’m confident that his intentions are for their best interests.

Initially, when Thieriot expressed his views, I didn’t fully concur, but I understood his perspective. However, upon watching Episode 2 of the junior season of Fire Country, I became aware of the complexities and hidden truths surrounding Bode and Gabriela. As a result, I believe both he and Manny presented valuable viewpoints that warrant attention.

After Episode 2, I Think Both Manny And Max Thieriot Are 100% Right

In the second episode of Fire Country, it becomes clear that during their helicopter mission, Bode and Gabriela violated protocol by concealing the patient’s medical ID tag in order to safeguard Gabriela’s position and mask her error. Additionally, we learn that she ended things with Diego. Starting a relationship on such unstable ground certainly seems precarious.

Absolutely, it would be best if these two kept their relationship platonic for now. They’ve got a lot on their plates that needs sorting out first.

Apart from their individual challenges, they each have personal obstacles to surmount before they can focus on each other’s wellbeing. Bode is striving to honor the Leone legacy, embrace his newfound freedom, and potentially become a firefighter. Simultaneously, Gabriela is recovering from a break-up, while Manny is returning to Three Rock following legal issues in the previous season.

According to Thieriot, Manny understands the situation Bode is in (and is experiencing it himself once more), and he desires him to achieve and sustain success as a free individual. Moreover, he wishes to safeguard his daughter who is emotionally fragile at this time for various reasons. Consequently, a romantic connection between Bode and Gabriela seems unlikely to thrive at present, so it would be unwise for such a relationship to develop, as suggested by Kevin Alejandro’s character.

Currently, the storyline revolves around the question of whether Sharon and Vince can fulfill Manny’s wish by maintaining a distance between them. As Fire Country progresses into its third season on CBS, we will find out how this situation unfolds.
